Fruit Smoothie

Started Weight Watchers again this year. One of my favorite snacks is a fruit smoothy. this is a recipe that I have concocted that I really like.

1 C - Fat free Milk
1 - 6oz container Yoplait Lite Yogurt (any flavor.)
1 to 2 C - Frozen Fruit (add enough to make a stiff smoothie.)
1 Banana

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy. This is only 7 WW PointPlus.

I use an Oster "Blend-n-Go Smoothie Kit. The kit comes with a container, a blade setup and a flip-top cap. Makes it easy to make smoothies with little cleanup.

Crock Pot Baked Potato Soup

This sounds like a very good tasting recipe. I am going to have to try it out soon. It is alot less work than the baked potato soup that I make. Click on the link to see the recipe.

Everyone Meet Harvey

My lovely wife allowed me to get a dog for Christmas. One of the first things I wanted to try and do is rescue a dog from the animal shelter. My daughter Melissa, who was enthusiastic about getting a dog, went with me to the animal shelter. Next thing you know we came home with Harvey. It has only been three days but, he has turned out to be a kind and loving dog. I just love him to death.

Danish Cheese Braid

I uploaded a page with the recipe of my mother-in-laws Danish Cheese Braid. She would bake these delicious danish and give them as Christmas presents to friends and family. We continue the tradition. Virginia Hentges passed away in July and we miss her very much this time of year.
